In fact, it’s been proven to be 90% effective in improving red, dark, or raised scars. It isn’t just for fresh or new scars either, Cica Care can actually improve scars that are up to 20 years old! Even the itching and discomfort that usually accompany red or raised scars can be alleviated. Available in 12cm x 15cm gel sheets, that can be cut to fit most any scar. Plus, each cut piece will last up to 28 days when in use. The average treatment time of individual scar is 2-4 months. With each active piece lasting 14-28 days, the cost effectiveness of Cica Care is clear. Wash hands before and after treating scar. Gently clean the scar and surrounding skin with a mild soap and rinse in clean warm water. Cut cica care to fit scar size, with a small overlap over the surrounding skin. Peel off printed plastic backing sheet, and apply cica-care adhesive side to the scar, without stretching. If necessary a light crepe bandage or tape can be used to keep cica-care in place. Store any remainder cica-care in a dry place (the packaging tray can be used).
